Tito Beveridge is the founder and owner of Tito´s Handmade Vodka. After graduating from UT with degrees in geology and geophysics, Tito ventured into the oil and gas business in Texas, Venezuela and Colombia. After a stint running dynamite seismic crews and drilling for oil, Tito got tired and started looking in a new direction.
Soon, he found himself tinkering around making flavored vodka as Christmas gifts for friends. Everyone started calling him "the vodka guy". At first he laughed it off, but quickly came to realize there might be something to this vodka thing after all.
Starting with $90,000 in credit card debt in 1997, Tito´s vodka was born. Selling just 1,000 cases in the first three years, Tito´s vodka now sells more than 200,000 cases each year. Tito´s vodka now enjoys wide distribution as one of the most recognized and awarded vodkas in the world.
